Golden Age of Illustration

TheGolden Age of Illustration was born out of giant advances in printing technology, which allowed for much more accurate and cost-effective reproduction of fine art than was previously possible.  This paved the way for a crop of new artists to create and share their work around the world.  The movement was significant in both America and Europe, beginning in 1880s and lasting through to the beginning of the first world war.
