Artist Feature – Deborah Kotovsky

With Chanukah just around the corner, we are featuring Jewish artist Deborah Kotovsky.  Born in Russia in 1970 to a pair of artistic parents, Kotovsky has been sketching and painting ever since.  She works with many mediums, including colored pencil, watercolor, pencil, ink, oil, acrylic, and even Photoshop.  However, her feature fine art is limited edition reproductions of her paintings.  Many of them are a celebration of the many aspects of Judaic culture.  Kotovsky uses layers of color and shading to bring depth to each piece.  Some, such as “The Evening Prayer,”  are of a solemn nature with a realist approach , while others, like “Music from the Heavens,” are more carefree and artsy.  The complete collection of Deborah Kotovsky limited edition fine art can be found in our online gallery.
